Founded in January 2000, the Brazilian Association of Competitive Telecommunications Service Providers (TelComp) brings together more than 60 telecom operators and works to promote competition as a lever for the sector's development. As a plural entity representing the interests of fixed and mobile telephony, broadband and internet access, pay TV, data centers, and corporate services, TelComp represents its members before the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial branches. It works closely with Anatel (the National Telecommunications Agency), as well as Ministries, Congress, State and Municipal Governments, the Federal Court of Accounts (TCU), and the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (Cade).
