Alessandro Molon is the Executive Director of Dig.ia, the leading association representing hyperscalers and digital infrastructure companies in Brazil and Latam. Under his leadership, the organization evolved from the Alliance for an Open Internet - which he led from 2023 to 2025 with a focus on free peering and net neutrality - into its current expanded scope, addressing the critical pillars of Internet architecture, AI infrastructure and digital connectivity.

A former Federal Representative and five-time recipient of the "Best Parliamentarian in Brazil" award, Molon was the Rapporteur of the Marco Civil da Internet, Brazil's landmark "Internet Bill of Rights." He bridges high-level political negotiation with deep technical regulatory expertise to advocate for a robust, open, and competitive digital ecosystem.

Molon holds a Ph.D. in Law from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ) and is a Professor of Law at PUC-Rio, where he specializes in the intersection of constitutional law, technology, and governance.
