Javier Lacasa Fuertes is a Telecommunications Engineer who graduated “cum laude” from the Public University of Navarre (UPNA) and holds a Master’s degree in Global Business Administration from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru and an MBA from EADA Business School in Barcelona, Spain. Mr. Lacasa was incorporated with UFINET in 1999, Madrid, Spain as Project Manager, and since 2002 migrated to Latin America to become Country Manager of Guatemala. In 2007 was named Director for Central America and since 2009 is EVP – Executive Vice President- for Latin America. Mr. Lacasa has been a key player in the exponential growth in the region and the geographic expansion of fiber optic and operations in more than 17 countries.
